Kagrra, and her short farewell album

Kagrra, - "Chigiri"

Kagrra, one of my favorite bands from Japan will be resolved next month, but is an album's beforehand farewell: "Hyakki Kenran".

To counter the anticipation directly, which was not even my intention, I just put itself firmly with dismay that the duration of the album, an EP on the move - 33 minutes is really not enough for me "Album" although the band never was known for sprawling long boards. But in their "Core" We turned up his nose, as it were "whole" 39 minutes.

One could see the album to the data, that it seems a half-hearted dessert is because unfortunately there are capable but the new songs only in part, to blur the impression. "Hyakki Kenran" sometimes seems like it would have gotten the remains of the last two albums. Many new titles there's anyway: Of the nine songs are two popular singles and one is an instrumental intro.

Everything sounds much to familiar melodies. Large experiments dare the boys no longer here, but they did not accomplish Terrific. "Chigiri" and "Tsuki Ni Murakomo, Hana Ni Ame" are pretty, but strong sound to the typical Kagrra, single product in recent years. "Kakurenbo" and "Manatsu No Yo No Yume" are faster and playful, but both are not to remain in the ear.

The slow-epic "Kikan" shows a lot of independence and is finally comfortable for me along with the dramatic "Kihou" the best songs of the disc. That's me, but too little to celebrate this album properly, even if it is beautiful and praiseworthy that the boys before their separation yet delivered a plate. I will miss anyway.
